Currently, under its sponsorship, over 90 African energy professionals from ten countries are engaged in research on six themes - institutions, management and efficiency; capacity building and technology; financing and markets; local and regional environment; and climate change. The Network is co-ordinated and administrated by a professional secretariat based in Nairobi.
