Jeanette Batiste is the Program Coordinator for ASAP operations in Malawi. Jeanette graduated from University of New Hampshire in 2002 and joined the US Peace Corps. She served as a volunteer in Chikwawa, Malawi for two years from 2003-2005. Following her assignment with the Peace Corps, she accepted a position with the African Parks Foundation as Extension Coordinator for Majete Wildlife Reserve. In this capacity she coordinated all the community collaboration, education, and social support activities of African Parks (Majete), Ltd. She completed her MSc in Environment and Development Studies from the London School of Economics in 2007. Following her Master’s she worked as an Associate with a private equity firm before accepting a position with ASAP.
