Organization Details
Established in 1994, EWLA is an advocacy group that works to safeguard the legal rights of women. It has done this through a sustained campaign to attune national legislation to women rights and the provision of legal aid and counseling to women suffering harassment and abuse. EWLA also has a program of educating women about their rights.
