Organization Details
The Child Survival Collaborations and Resources Group (The CORE Group) is a network of more than 35 non-profit organizations working together to promote and improve primary health care programs for women and children and the communities in which they live. Collectively, its member organizations have presence in more than 140 countries. All members have participated in USAID's Child Survival Grants Program. CORE began in 1997 and received its not-for-profit status in 2001. CORE is currently comprised of 35 member organizations each contributing time and resources along with a secretariat of 4 persons and a polio eradication team of 4 persons.
