Description of Work:

Mr. Budy manages a team of four; promotes the International Bank Liberia Limited’s products and services in an effort to attract new customers to the bank, customer visits; he advises senior management on strategic decisions.

Fidel C. Budy was born in Bong Mines, Bong County on the 25^th of November in the year 1981 unto the union of Mr. Joseph Budy and Miss Kadiatu Traore. He began his education at the Bong Town School.

During the war in Liberia, he attended the Shoes Factory Community School. He attended the Ganta United Methodist School from junior high to early senior high. He completed his high school education and graduated from The St. Peter’s Lutheran High School on 14^th street, Monrovia in May 1999.

He spent one semester at the University of Liberia before traveling to the United Kingdom to Study Business and Management. He graduated from the University of Hull in 2009 with an honor degree (upper second class) in Business Management.

He gained an International Certificate in Administrative Management from the Institute of Administrative Management (2004), Advanced Vocational Certificate in Business Management from the Doncaster College (2003), NEBS Certificate in Management from the Dealley Valley Business School (2002) and a TUC Union Representative Training from the Sheffield College (NOCN/2005).

In England, he worked as a Social Worker/Administrator with Safe Haven Yorkshire (2002-2005); Finance Officer with Artos Origin (2005-2006), Training/Customer Service Officer with Ventura Customer Centre (2006-2008) and Administrator/Sale Officer with Vision Express (2008-2010).

He is a founding member of the Liberian Organization of Sheffield established in 2004. He also served in 2004 as a member of the planning committee; in 2006, as a member on the Independence Day Celebrations Committee and as Secretary General of the organization from December 2006 to July 2009. He is also a founding member of the Union of Liberian Organizations in the UK (ULOUK).

At Safe Haven, he was the Staff Union Representative from 2004 to 2005 and Student Representative of the senior class (2008-2009).

Fidel C. Budy has a ten month old son. He is dedicating this race to his late grandmother, Sarah Nyounway Ticlar, for being an inspiration to him.

Presently, he is the Marketing Manager at the International Bank Liberia Limited.
