The Puntland hospital is Somalia’s largest comprehensive medical centre, with more than 40 beds and covered patients from across the Somalia and abroad being treated at the hospital every year.

The hospital became one of the country's first private hospital opened in February 2005. Based in Bosaso, the Puntland Hospital is a leader in the Modern Hospital in Somalia, with a successful record of innovation in nursing care, pioneering new treatments and the development of new equipments and modern instruments.

The Puntland Hospital provides extensive inpatient, day-care and outpatient facilities for all types of diseases, offering in the near future a full range of specialist services from critical care to rehabilitation.

The hospital's unique relationship with other hospitals brings new advances from the laboratory to the bedside as swiftly as possible to ensure all patients can benefit from the latest investigation and treatments.

It is the newest hospital in the Puntland and almost in Somalia dedicated to investigate, treatment, education and future planning research into the underlying causes of common disease in Somalia.

Puntland Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Somalia. Our aim is to provide both primary and acute hospital care for the population of the area. We are also involved in medical research, with special interest in tropical diseases.

We specifically focus on locally endemic diseases such as Malaria, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS and Schistosomiasis most of which are recognized by the World Health Organization as neglected infectious diseases and chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetic, kidney and lung.We firmly believe in:
