The University of Maryland's Center for International Development and Conflict Management (CIDCM) is strategically located at the nexus of theory and practice, academics and activism, economic development and civil society, technology and human needs. The projects of CIDCM have been dedicated to pursuing new and better understanding about the dynamics of conflict and conflict resolution, with a special emphasis on the role of economic development and information technology in conflict-prone societies.
