With his latest album "La Différence", Salif Keita helps his fellow African albinos, who are often victims of discrimination, stigmatization and even murder. He says:
“It’s very, very important for me to help albino people, because they need help, and it is my duty, because I am albino, too.”
The star from Mali pledged that all proceeds from his album will be used to help albinos through the Salif Keita Foundation. He urges everyone not to bootleg this album, but to support the cause.
