Reneilwe Letsholonyane has managed to claw his way back to the senior national side in time for the FIFA World Cup™. He has proved to be one of the key discoveries of the Parreira regime, and while he remains an unknown entity for most, he is one of the players who is full of promise in the Bafana jersey.

Born in the famous township of Soweto, south of Johannesburg, he is the product of one of the finest players and talent scouts in South Africa, Jomo Sono.

Letsholonyane started his professional career with Jomo Cosmos before being lured by the country’s glamour boys, Kaizer Chiefs in 2008, but he had made his Bafana debut before then in September of that year against Malawi.

A workaholic, Letsholonyane is also renowned for his knack of scoring crucial goals for his club, and he has fitted well in the national team since being handed his international debut. All six of his caps have come in friendly internationals.
