Mohammed A. Kiahon is the son of Mr. Varney G. Kiahon and Mrs. Amie S. Kiahon. He was born in Bendoo Town, Garwula District, Grand Cape Mount County.

He started his elementary education in Bendoo Public School in Cape Mount County, but due to the civil conflict in that area, he migrated to Monrovia for continuation of his academy endeavor.

He attended Clara Town Elementary and Junior High School in Clara Town, Bushrod Island.  At that institution, he completed both his elementary and junior high school education.

He then enrolled at the William V. S Tubman Senior High School in Sinkor, Monrovia. After completing his studies at the William V. S Tubman High School, Mohammed obtained a high school diploma and a certificate from the West African Examination Council in Liberia (WAEC).

Mohammed has also acquired carpentry skills after completing high school.

During the recruitment and training process of the new Liberia National Police (LNP) by of the United Nations Missions in Liberia (UNMIL), Mohammed joined the training process and achieved a certificate at the end of the training program. He also had the opportunity to go through a driving course at the Police Academy where he also got a certificate of achievements.

Mohammed A. Kiahon is now an officer of the Liberia National Police (LNP) serving and to protecting the lives and properties of civilians. He is also engaged in the enforcement of law and order in the country.

Officer Kiahon is currently assigned with the United States Embassy Police Detail in Mamba Point, Monrovia, Liberia.
