Patience Handful Dalieh was born in Monrovia on September 4, 1986 and taken to Pleebo City, Maryland County at the age of 2 to live with her paternal mother. While with her grandmother, she attended the St. Francis Elementary School in Maryland County from 1989 to 1992.

 She fled to the Ivory Coast due to the civil war in Liberia. Patience attended the Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA) Refugee School in Ivory Coast from 1994 to 1997. After a fragile peace agreement in Liberia, she came back to Liberia and attended the Fatima High School in Harper City, Maryland County from 1997 to 2004.

 Miss Dalieh went through her education achieving academic excellence in each class. She served as secretary, vice-president and president in various classes during those years in high school.

 From 2000 to 2003, Patience served as a Continuity Announcer and Newscaster at the “Voice of Hope” in Harper City, Maryland County. She also served in similar positions at “Radio Tabou” in Ivory Coast. In 2004, she rejoined the “Radio Harper” family on 98.8 FM.

 After completing High School, she moved to Monrovia in pursuit of higher education. While in Monrovia, Patience served as a Continuity Announcer at the former D.C 101.1 FM.

 Upon closure of D.C 101.1 FM, she moved over to UNMIL Radio 91.5 FM as an intern and Production Assistant. Patience graduated in 2010 from the African Methodist Episcopal University with a B.A in Mass Communication. In June 2011, she worked as a Researcher/ Transcriber on an Urban Justice Project at the Carter Center.

 She is a member of Paramount Young Women Initiative, an organization that is working primarily in the vineyard of advocating for the rights of young women and girls in Liberia.

 Patience H. Dalieh is now an Editorial Assistant at AllAfrica Global Media in West Africa, Liberia.
