The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation was started as a tribute to her father, the late Leon H. Sullivan. The foundation serves to honor Sullivan's legacy of bringing people together to share information , experiences and skills. The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation promotes political entreprenuership and intellectual leadership of the African Diaspora and friends of Africa.
Masters played an active role in the development of the Global Sullivan Principles of Social Responsiblity, a guide for businesses to use in order to conduct social,economic and political justice in their companies. Masters also played a role in the first Leon H. Sullivan Summit planning meetings.
