Didier Drogba is today the best African striker and the main scorer of Chelsea FC.
Didier Drogba has played football around the world. Born in Abidjan, he left at the age of 8 to follow his uncle Goba Michel, a football player in France. From there on, he grows up in several places in France and start playing for Levallois, a small team near Paris. From there he went to Le Mans before moving to Guingamp, Marseille and now Chelsea.
Today he is a world class player and considering a move from Chelsea to an Italian team at the end of this season.
With the Ivorian national team, Drogba played in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and scored 1 goal. He also played and lost the final of the African Cup of Nations in 2006, and was the African footballer of the year that year.
