Mission Statement
UTL Technologies was started on 11th June 2001 by the UTL group with a aim to bridge the Gap between the academics and industry. UTL group had the in-house training team since 1997 which was training the fresh recruits of the group. The need to bridge the gap was felt by the UTL group in this training process which resulted in establishing a full fledged, well equipped training organization to cater to the growing industry needs. UTL Technologies is focused on niche technology areas in Semiconductor technology and Mobile Communication in order to leverage on the technical strengths of the group companies. The training is offered in the areas of Embedded Systems Design, VLSI design, Mobile Communication and Networking. The course content is designed keeping in mind the current and future requirements of the industry. Major contribution in terms of content, curriculum design and hands on experiments comes from the UTL group companies. We also interact regularly with technical members of renowned industries to verify the relevance of the content to the industry expectation and upgrade the content accordingly. This up-gradation happens every six months.

Organization Details

The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme was instituted by a decision of the Indian Cabinet on 15 September 1964 as a bilateral programme of assistance of the Government of India. Prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, who also served as External Affairs Minister, was the main architect of the ITEC programme.

The ITEC Programme, fully funded by Government of India, has evolved and grown over the years under ITEC and its corollary SCAAP (Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme) 159 countries in Asia, East Europe (Including former USSR), Central Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean as well as Pacific and small Island countries. Countries are invited to share in the Indian development experience in various fields. As a result of various activities under ITEC programme, there is now a visible and growing awareness. among other countries about the competence of India as a provider of technical know-how and expertise as well as training opportunities, consultancy services and feasibility studies. Over the years, the technical and economic programme of Ministry of External Affairs has generated immense goodwill and substantive cooperation among the developing countries.
