Organization Details
The Wildlife Society of Southern Africa is an NGO which promotes public participation in caring for the earth. It conducts environmental awareness and education campaigns and conservation projects such as establishing new reserves, defending existing reserves, conserving endangered and threatened species and anti-pollution campaigns. The Wildlife Society also conserves river systems, wetlands, estuaries and marine areas, and provides bursaries to promote tertiary conservation training. It operates in Southern Africa.
