Salif Keita is an internationally recognized afro-pop singer and songwriter often called the Golden Voice of Africa. He has received numerous awards for his music, including a Grammy in 1992. He is considered by many to be one of the most talented African musicians ever. Salif Keita is also a direct descendant of the founder of the Mali Empire, Sundiata Keita.
