King Sunny Ade

King Sunny Ade is a popular performer of Nigerian Jùjú music. His rise to superstar status began in the 1970s. Ade and his 20-piece band the African Beats weave an infectious blend of electric guitars, synthesizers and multi-layered percussion. Adé, in fact, was said to be the first to introduce the pedal steel guitar to Nigerian pop music after becoming a fan of American country/western tunes.

KSA's music is an icon to recon with when it comes to Nigeria music. His music would continue to have value as it brings out knowledge, love and culture. It is simply fantastic. Not only 'Afai bawon Ja' but all his music.

Carry on KSA, we love u.
