To escape the noise and hustle of Gaborone, many tourists travel to the Gaborone Game Reserve for a day. It is a short taxi ride from the Broadhurst Mall, and walking is not advised. Inside the reserve, antelope, rhinoceros, and other animals can be viewed in guarded enclosured. Admission is less than a dollar per person.
