We stayed here because of our over-night connecting flight on Air Mauritius from Antananarivo. While the place was incredibly friendly, clean, and included a working DVD player, and high-speed Wi-Fie, the only reason we'd recommend staying here is if you have a flight the next morning. The owners are lovely and for a nominal fee they will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. And they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The problem is the location -- a long walk to the water, a much longer walk or drive to a beach,  with few decent restaurant options and only a rundown town located ten minutes away by foot. With that said, the drive to the airport is a cool 15 minutes, making Le Bamboo Hotel a safe and decent final stop in Mauritius. The price is fair (approximately $30.00 USD per night), and the place is is drama-free. Happy Traveling!
