Chad is landlocked and the easiest way into the country is via the international airport in N'Djamena. Other smaller airfields at Abéché, Sarh, and Moundou are only capable of receiving small jet traffic and propeller aircraft. The road network, although not advanced, can be used to view glimpses of Chad's glamorous history and many attractions. With history and culture combining thousands of years of history in the Sahel, Chad is a more challenging travel destination that's worth the extra effort.
