This is a very different landscape than the dusty roads from the previous photo, but it is still the same area, no more than a few miles away. We got here by boat over Lake Naivasha, and after a short walk found ourselves in these grasslands. We were immediately surrounded by grazing zebras and gazelles, and on the way back to the boat, we were caught up in a parade of giraffes. Near here is also Crater Lake, a body of water visible from a high overlook that is vibrant with bright pink flamingos.
