One final view of Rwanda - misty at dusk. Fog and mist roll through the hills frequently, providing dramatic views and enveloping the landscape. This picture is taken from the road out to Remera suburb, where the Chez Lando and other hotels/restaurants are. Along the road is an excellent Italian restaurant, with great food and an outdoor deck built into a hill. Also in the Remera neighborhood is Amahoro Stadium, a major sports arena in Kigali used by the UN mission during the genocide. While Remera is a distance from city center, it is worth exploring and easy to get to by bus or motorcycle taxi.
